On 27th August 2021, Stronghold Trustee and Side Hustle MFI held the MOU signing ceremony for the strategic alliance cooperation. For this cooperation, Stronghold Trustee and Side Hustle MFI signed on the 3-year Trust-Loan Investment Plan for Real Estate Development, effectively resolve the foreigner ownership over real estate issue and maximize the profit on the investment.
In the Ceremony, H.E. SOU SOCHEAT, Delegate of Royal Government in charge as Director General of Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia of Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia, stated and recognized the commitment of Stronghold Trustee to the development of Cambodia's trust industry and strongly hope that Stronghold Trustee will continue its advocacy to the foreign investment on the use of trusts to create a safer investment environment.
In this ceremony, the Cambodian government officials also wished for the success of Stronghold Trustee. H.E. YIM LEAT, member of the commission on Economy, Finance, Banking and Audit of the National Assembly, H.E. BOUN SARAKMONY, Secretary of State of Ministry of Commerce, also sent a congratulatory which added a lot of excitement to the signing ceremony of the entire strategic alliance. H.E YIM LEAT said that “Stronghold Trustee plays a leading role in the Cambodian trust industry. In the near future, I do hope the company could layout more paths in order to create more opportunities and forge strong bonding with other companies.”
This MOU enables Stronghold Trustee to expand its trust business, and will also give more flexibility, more security, and more completeness for Side Hustle MFI's services, especially providing the loans for SMEs and start-ups with technology of digital finance and data analysis to inspect and monitor the loan implementation and execution. Compared with traditional financial structures, this can maximize the return and protect the benefits of the stakeholders, including funders, developers, and real estate owners.
