Compass Cambodia report - According to a meeting held by the Pursat Provincial Administration recently, the construction of two key provincial roads, including Road 209 + 109, and the Pursat Central Market Road 205 + 206 + 103 in Pursat Province will formally commence on November 10th.
Pursat Governor HE Chiao Tay mentioned that the DBST and concrete will be used to pave both roads. To be specific, these two projects are part of the ADB's Tonle Sap Lake environmental management project, which has a total loan value of $9.93 million.
It is worth mentioning that this entire strategy, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, includes the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, drainage system, flood protection network, landfill, and the two aforementioned road projects. The initiatives to renovate the wastewater treatment plant, the drainage system, and roads are anticipated to be completed by March 2022.
