According to the report of the Ministry of Land Planning and Construction, there are an estimated 7 million land in the country. Most of the people have already obtained property rights certificates, and only a small number of people are still in the process of processing. A total of 618,216 property rights certificates were issued for the divided and separately registered land, of which 1,854 land rights were owned by the Kingdom, with an area of 770,872 hectares.
The Ministry of Land Planning and Construction also pointed out that the government will complete 100% of the land registration of state-owned, private and indigenous communities in the country by 2021. The purpose of land ownership registration is to ensure the legal security of land use rights, respect people’s land rights, improve people’s living standards, reduce people’s poverty rate, increase national food security and promote social harmony.
The report added that in order to achieve the government's goals, the Ministry of Land Planning and Construction has formulated laws and regulations, and formulated specific action plans and mechanisms to promote national land registration and resolve public land disputes. (Jianhua Daily)
