1. Currency switch button
Overseas properties do not use a single currency settlement method, and different platform displays prices based on the local currency in circulation. Some countries use local currency for settlement, while some countries use CNY for pricing to attract Chinese investors, while Cambodia and other countries usually use the US dollar. As a result, overseas customers cannot measure the price of the real estate when they looking for a house, and they cannot do compare the price performance among different countries.
In order to upgrade the user experience, Compass updated the currency switch function in Compass product. The user can choose display price of the listing as US dollars or CNY. The prices of all listings and properties on the platform are displayed in chosen currency.
The Android version can be modified in [More] page. For the computer version, click Switch button in the upper right corner of the Compass home page. For the H5 version, click the Personal Center icon in the upper right corner and select Currency Switch.
As investors, if they can choose familiar currency, which is convenient for users to measure property prices accurately. Housing price is more intuitive for the investors.
2. IM function optimized
IM mainly optimizes three functions: listing card, automatic reply, and translation function.
Listing card: In the old IM version, if the agent wanted to forward a listing to the client or the client selected a series of listings and could share one listing link only when client want to consult details. After the new function is updated, when users choose the listing, it will generate a linked housing card in the IM chat box automatically . Both agents and customers can learn well about the housing details intuitively, and the information display is more reasonable.
This function is more convenient for agent and customer and it is suitable for both computer version and application version.
Language translation: During online communication with the agent, the agent's reply will switch to the language used by the user automatically, and the user can also choose to long press the text for manual translation.
This function solves the language problems of overseas buyers, and the communication is more convenient. Both the computer and mobile product updated the translation function.
Automatic reply: In IM chat, if the agent fails to reply in time, the system will reply the customer automatically in a minute and a half, the user can click[call] button to call the agent for listing information.
Automatic reply could shorten the waiting time for user, make easier for communication.
