H.E Sun Chanthol once stated that the Phnom Penh Expressway must pass through many lake areas and flood-prone areas along the way, and the length is about 80 kilometers. Therefore, the construction of the project is difficult and the construction cost is relatively expensive.
Phnom Penh -Bavet expressway not only drive the development of Bavet city, improving the goods transfer and transport along the expressway, but also promote the trade between Cambodia and neighbouring countries.
