Ministry of Environment Meeting to Review Draft Project Proposal for

On the afternoon of Monday, August 3, 2020, H.E Tin Ponlok, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment, chaired a meeting to review the draft of the “Plastic Waste Management” project proposal at the Ministry's office to applying funding from Japan .

Sources from the Ministry of Environment said that the meeting on the review of the draft proposal of the project "Plastic Waste Management" was organized for the main purposes, including: 1. Present the draft proposal focusing on the background, objectives, expected results and project stakeholders. 2. Gather inputs and additional comments for editing project proposals.

The source added that the project proposal focused on the implementation of activities in three target provinces, including Sihanoukville, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh for 2 years and 6 months, focusing on a number of activities, including: Implement the economic model of Chakra to promote the sustainable use and production of plastics in Cambodia. 2.
