His Excellency Svay Sam Eang, Governor of Mondulkiri Province, said in an interview with the delegation of the Cambodian News Agency AKP last weekend at Mondulkiri Provincial Hall that traveling to Phnom Penh-Mondulkiri is no longer worried about difficult roads, even at night or day because the national road is well connected, easy to drive for all types of vehicles.

The provincial governor said that the Royal Government had built a paved road from Snuol in Kratie province to connect with the provincial town of Mondulkiri so that people could not worry about traveling to Phnom Penh.

HE Svay Sam Eang said, "We have just felt free from the difficulties since 2011 when we travel to Phnom Penh, even if it is a night, we are afraid of driving safety. But if you are afraid of getting stuck or slipping, there is no such thing. So we consider it as an evolution from this infrastructure, and I think there are developments in terms of roads, in addition to national roads, there are roads connecting to the border with rubber roads."

It is worth noting that National Road No. 76 connecting Snoul District, Kratie Province to Sen Monorom City, Mondulkiri Province is 127 kilometers long. National Road No. 76 from Sen Monorom City, Mondulkiri Province to Ta Ang, Lumphat District, Ratanakkiri Province is 172 kilometers long. The total length of roads in the province: 851.37 km, of which 8 roads in the province have a length of 530.5 km. There are 59 roads in Sen Monorom city which have a length of 65.87 km and  32 roads have a total length of 255 km. The road to the three bilateral border gates is 87 kilometers long.(This news came from AKP)
