Cambodia's smallest and largest tourism market in the first half of early 2020

Cambodia's six major tourism markets in the first half of 2020 are China, Vietnam, Thailand, the United States, South Korea, the United Kingdom and France, but Cambodia's smaller foreign tourists are Timor-Leste, Monaco, China Macau, Bhutan, Afghanistan and Fiji.

Figures show that in the first half of 2020, China came to Cambodia a total of 275,673 people, down 78.7%, 179,698 Vietnamese,down 55.3%, Thailand 161,084 , down 7.6%, the United States 53,238 , down 59.7%, South Korea 52,613, down 62.2%, UK 44,326, down 50.2% and France 41,838, down 51.7%.

Figures also show that only 20 Timor people came to Cambodia in the first half of 2020, down 79.6%. Monaco 27, down 35.7 %, China Macau 30, down 79.3 %, Bhutan 42, down 72.4 %, Afghanistan 47, down 67.4%, and Fiji 75, down 61.7%.

According to the first half of the tourism report of the Ministry of Tourism, overall foreign tourists to Cambodia fell by 64%, down from 3 million in the first half of 2019, there were only 1.18 million in the first half of 2020 due to epidemic. By Heng Panha AKP
