Road 48, Koh Kong-Sihanoukville will become the Highway road in the near future

National Road 48 is the road from Srae Ambel to Koh Kong, 138 km long, and this road is also under repairing  some damaged places, so people can travel to celebrate the sea festival in the Koh Kong Province and ease the cargo' transportation  to the market quickly.

By social media of the administrative of Koh Kong Province, in the morning of March 13, 2019 which presided by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen talking with more than 10,000 workers, he expressed that  13,866 workers  from seven factories in Koh Kong Province with two Japanese investors, three Thai, one Korean, and one another from Netherland .

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen is very proud of the progress of the Cambodian industry in recent years, while the Royal Government is pushing forward the industrial development policy (2015-2025) to be more effective.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister spoke of the prosperity of Koh Kong today, which is far from the past, where former Koh Kong province is without infrastructure, especially the road is not easy, but Now, traveling from Phnom Penh to Koh Kong is much easier than ever.

Samdech Techo HUN SEN claimed  to the residents of Koh Kong that in the near  future, street 48 from Koh Kong to Sihanoukville will be an important highway to serve our people's journey, which will be built by the Republic of Korea assistance. At present, we also have a road from Koh Kong to the Thma Da region of Pursat and Battambang to make our people's journey easier and save money and time-consuming.
