The Cambodian government has recently revealed plans to upgrade three national roads in Kampot province, including NR41, NR31, and NR33. The three projects are currently awaiting approval from the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Prime Ministry Hun Sen made the statement during the grand opening ceremony of Prince Manor on October 7.
“Yesterday I entered a deal to construct three more roads, funded by China. We already negotiated the price. The three roads include NR41 (connects from NR4 to Kampot), NR31, and NR33 (both in Kampot Province),” PM Hun Sen said.
“We have agreed on the project and we are now awaiting H.E. Aun Pornmoniroth’s signature, then we can begin the construction,” he added.
On 30 September, Minister of Public Works and Transport HE Sun Chanthol said that the study of these three national roads had been finished. Source from Construction.com.
