The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has allowed to Oddormeanchey Power Industry Co Ltd to invest over US$350 million building a 265-megawatt coal-fired power plant in Oddor Meanchey and 230 kilovolts attached transmission line.
The coal-fired power plant is located Trapaing Prasat district and will be built with the investment value of US$294 million.
Meanwhile, the 230 kilovolts transmission line worth US$61.4 million is to connected the power plant to a sub-station in Siem Reap province.
Both projects are expected to create over 350 jobs for locals.
The two energy projects were approved by the Council of the Ministers since February this year. Source from Construction-property.com
