A $ 500 million business center starts construction in Sihanoukville

A total of US $ 500 million worth of investment capital has begun inaugurated in Sihanoukville, under the presence of Eav Leng, the Governor of Sihanoukville.

According to the provincial Information Department of the Ministry of Information, May 5, 2019, the center is attracted by shopping malls, condo and entertainment clubs of Pailin Enterprises. The center is scheduled to complete the project within the next two years and locates to the east of the Lorong roundabout, along with Ochheuteal Beach.

Mr. Yon Min , the governor of Sihanoukville, had previously conveyed that the provincial administration would welcome all companies that intended to invest in Sihanoukville, whether investing in commercial buildings, condominiums, factories, enterprises, or infrastructure in the province. The provincial administration will welcome and coordinate in order to make this investment in the province Smooth and steady.

"The growth of the investment has been contributing to the poverty reduction of the Cambodian people," he said. "Through these investments, Sihanouk has grown so fast that everything is changing now and in the future," he said.

Preah Sihanouk Province is a coastal area with a deep-water port in the last two or three years, strongly invested by Chinese investors and turned into a developed area.

Sihanoukville is in the process of constructing large constructions, with a total of over 3,000 square meters of construction projects with over 70 projects in more than 300 active projects, including 40 tallest buildings.
