Illegal sale of state-owned land is not alone. On the 13th, the Pursat police detained five suspects who were suspected of illegally selling state-owned land on social platforms. The land involved in the case was changed from an economic concession to a social concession, and the government distributed the land to poor families living in Krakor County, Pursat Province. The five suspects have posted on Facebook to sell state-owned land illegally, and suspects were detained by the police on suspicion of fraud and sold state-owned land illegally. They are detained in police station.

As of April this year, the Cambodian government has issued 5.733306 land property certificates to the public through the Ministry of Land Planning and Construction, accounting for 81.90% of the country's total households. The Ministry of Land Planning and Construction stated that the government will complete 100% land registration for state-owned, private and indigenous communities in the country by 2021.

The completion of land registration is conducive to ensuring the legal security of land use rights, making land property rights clearer, and land transactions will be standardized gradually.
