According to the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, from July 1-7, parts of the country will experience heavy rainfall and natural phenomena.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology on June 30, 2020, as a result of continual change in weather conditions, the Southwest monsoon is inundated with valleys of low pressure systems which will make an impact on Cambodia.
The ministry said that the situation in the Central Plains will have average to moderate rainfall, with some of the other parts will have heavy rainfall too.In the northern provinces of the Dangrek Mountains and the plateau, there is less to moderate rainfall and the coastal areas will have moderate to heavy rainfall. On the surface, there will be heavy rainfall with high tide.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has also called on the people, especially sea travelers and fishermen, to be alert for natural phenomena such as thunderstorms and cyclones.
