The new Cambodia-Laos border gate will push real estate along the border to grow

Cambodia and Laos have an international gate that was opened in January 2017 called Trapeang Kreal - Nong Nuk Khean International Gate located on the border of Stung Treng, Cambodia and Champasak, Laos, Cambodia also has three provinces: Ratanakiri, Stung Treng, and Preah Vihear, which borders Laos.

According to the ministry's information, HE Lt. Gen. Phat Sophanith, a deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, said that Cambodia and Laos are committed to further strengthening joint cooperation in many areas, especially in the areas of public security, for the common good of both parties, and to facilitate the exchange of delegations, trade exchanges that are consistent by agreement in a signed log.

He added that the two sides would open more international border gates to facilitate the travel of the people, currently the only Cambodia-Laos-Cambodia international border checkpoint ,Stung Treng province also helps boost bilateral trade.

But the new international border gate that the two sides are studying together to open is possible in Ratanakiri or Stung Treng provinces as far as possible.
