Kampong Speu has been approached by 35 major Chinese companies to study key areas for investment

On the morning of November 27, 2019, HE WY Samnang, Governor of Kampong Speu Provincial Council met with 35 large companies from the People's Republic of China to explore opportunities for investment in Kampong Speu. 

Taking the opportunity, he said that Kampong Speu is in need of more investors to develop the province in order to provide a job market to the Cambodian people and reduce migration.

In addition, he also highlighted areas in which the territory is desperately in need of investors, including agriculture, industry and trade with quality and efficiency to improve the living standards of people in the province.

According to the governor, the companies that are investing in Kampong Speu are also recognized and approved by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
