Cambodia's Deputy Prime Minister HE Chea Sophara, Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, attended the 13th Working Group Meeting on "Construction and Real Estate" with Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and Oknha Ly Hour, President of the Cambodian Housing Developers Association. (HDAC) Vice President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and the Private Sector Manager of the 13th Working Group Real Estate and member associations in order to discuss the consultation to find a solution with the construction sector and the private sector.

His Excellency Sophara accepted the request and tackled the challenges and supported close cooperation with the private sector and alleviated the difficulties of the private sector and the developers of the compensation sector in Cambodia for the betterment of the company and the nation.

Oknha Lim Heng, Vice President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce in the Private Sector, raised five issues to submit:

1. Slack issues due to lack of officials

2. Issuance of a proposed construction law

3. Single Gateway Issues

4. The problem of loss of water drainage and electricity system along some national roads.

5. Licensing issues selling

In that regard, the Deputy Prime Minister decided to establish three sub-committees related to the two sectors:

1. Sub-Committee on Construction

2- Cadastral Sub-Committee

3. Sub-Committee on Construction Proposals and Conflict.

This builds confidence in private companies as well as citizens, and in the two sectors that are advancing in Cambodia, it is the key to boosting the economy and providing greater cohesion between institutions State and private too.(This news came from Business-Cambodia.com)
