Environmental factors and the needy elderly are important issues facing countries around the world and are looking for solutions; In fact, Cambodia is facing environmental issues and some elderly people are not paying much attention to diet and many things.

But what's good news about these solutions is that seven large Japanese companies are currently looking to invest in the care of the elderly and environmental management in Cambodia.

According to HE Sam Al, Minister of Environment of the Republic of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the delegation of seven investors, representatives of seven companies, met to discuss investment opportunities in renewable energy projects, the solid waste industry, the timber industry, food, health and elderly care in Cambodia.

In that occasion, the Minister informed the guests about Cambodia's economic potential and the government's policy to support foreign investors, including all environmental, protection and biodiversity conservation projects in Cambodia. HE Say Som Al also mentioned the possibility of making investment proposals under the "Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM)."

It has been highlighted that Cambodia has participated in JCM since 2014 and is currently successfully implementing six advanced Japanese technologies related to public road lighting, solar power generation, energy efficiency, protection and conservation of natural resources.

At the meeting, the representative of Green Power Techno presented the Minister of Environment with two "sterling engines". And Angkor Bio Cogen has presented a carbon credit certificate worth 2,000 tonne of CO2 equivalent.(This news came from Business-Cambodia.com)
