Techo Santepheap Angkol Beach Road, built along the coast in Kep province, is scheduled to be inaugurated in early November under the presidency of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Recently, H.E. Vong Piseth, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, chaired a meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the official opening ceremony of Techo Santepheap Road, Angkol Beach, to review the progress and other remaining work.
The 11-kilometer Techo Santepheap Angkol Beach Road, which connects Koh Tonsay port to Angkol beach, was built under the auspices of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at a cost of approximately US$10 million.
The new road built along the coast will be an important tourism artery connecting Kep beach and Angkol beach, which can avoid the crowds of tourists visiting Kep beach and also help to boost the number of tourists flocking to Kep province.
