Property tax: A tax need to pay on real estate valued at more than 100 million riel or US$25,000 (exchange rate US$1 = 4,000 riel), at a rate of 0.1% per annum, and the owner of the property is responsible for paying the tax; 3. Capital Gains Tax: A tax that must be paid to the state on every real estate transaction, the tax rate is 20%, and the seller is responsible for paying the tax (starting in 2024); 4.Rental income tax: 10%-14% of annual income, the landlord is responsible for paying the tax, locals need to pay 10% , while foreigners need to pay up to 14% annually on the income they earn from rental properties in Cambodia.
