At the same time, Chrek Soknim, chairman of the Cambodian Valuers and Estate Agents Association (CVEA), encourages investors to invest in housing or apartment projects because they will receive income from them every month.
He instructed that if you can't live after buying it, you can rent it out. He said that this investment will not only not face major risks, but also will not have a negative impact on life.
Soknim said that the benefits of living in an apartment include living in a community with a similar lifestyle, good environment, spacious and convenient yard, swimming pool and gym, etc.
Ann Sothida, the managing director of a real estate company, told the media that many Cambodians are now inclined to invest in apartments. She said that since the current apartment market is focused on Cambodians, developers have also begun to organize plans to make it easier for Cambodian customers and investors to purchase. For example, convenient payment makes bank loans more convenient, but two or three years ago, businessmen who invested in apartments could not get bank loans.
According to Sothida, other reasons include city expansion, the convenience of life, reasonable prices, etc.
She said that people can buy an apartment for only US$50,000 to US$150,000, but this price cannot buy ground-connected housing in big cities.
