According to The Star News, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently forecast that Cambodia's economy will grow by around 6.1% next year. These signs mean that Cambodia is likely to become the fastest-growing economy in the other 10 countries for the second year in a row. And Cambodia's economic growth is being closely followed by the Philippines, whose economy is expected to grow 5.3% this year and 5.9% next year.
Indonesia's economy is estimated to grow 5% in 2023 and 2024, while Laos' economy is forecast to grow 4% for both years. Myanmar's economic growth is expected to stabilize at 2.23% in 2023 and 2024.
Meanwhile, Vietnam is expected to grow 4.7% this year and 5.8% next year, while the forecast for Malaysia is 4% and 4.3%. Thailand's economy is expected to grow 2.7% this year and 3.2% next year.
