In January 2024, Cambodia's trade with major partners amounted $4.057 billion, an increase of 16.9 percent compared to the same period last year. This is according to the report of the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia.
According to same data, Cambodia's exports were valued at $1,967 million, an increase of 27 percent, while imports were valued at $2,090 million, an increase of 8.7 percent.
Cambodia's main trading partner is China, which achieved a trade volume of more than $1.1 billion, up 18.7 percent, with Cambodia exporting to China $121 million, up 50.1 percent, while China imported more than $1 billion, up 15.8 percent.
Meanwhile, the trade volume between Cambodia and Vietnam amounted to more than $677 million, an increase of 41.5 percent, with Cambodia exporting to Vietnam worth $373 million, an increase of 116.6 percent, while Vietnam imported more than $304 million, a decrease of 0.6 percent.
Exports and imports between Cambodia and the United States amounted to more than $644 million, up 10.8 percent, with Cambodia exporting to the United States worth $626 million, up 11.4 percent, while the United States imported more than $17 million, down 8 percent.
Along with other major trading partners such as Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Canada, Singapore, and Spain.
