A Singaporean company invests in a 22-hectare project near Techo Takhmao International Airport

Singapore-based real estate developer Sir Stamford Raffles Group (SSRG) has invested in the construction of a 22.6-hectare town near Techo Takhmao International Airport, located south of Phnom Penh.

The Marum Estate project began construction in October and covers an area of 35–40 football fields, located in Kandal province. This luxurious development is scheduled to be completed in 2030. According to the same source, the project will build 642 houses and 259 shops and facilities, including retail stores, health care facilities, and educational institutions.

Please be informed that since the establishment of Techo Takhmao International Airport in Takhmao City, the southern part of Phnom Penh, especially in the area near this airport, there has been a lot of development, including residential projects, shopping malls, and many other infrastructure systems.

According to CAIC, the project of Techo Takhmao International Airport, Takhmao City, Phnom Penh's new airport location, will be completed in 2025 for the first phase, with a capacity of 13 million passengers per year; the second phase is planned to be completed by 2030, which can receive 30 million passengers per year; and the final phase, which is projected to be completed in 2050, may receive up to 50 million passengers per year.
