The head of the Royal Government of Cambodia and the head of the State of Laos PDR discussed bilateral cooperation on the possibility of building a bridge across the border.
The project was discussed during a meeting between Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and H.E. Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (LPDR), on March 25 in Vientiane City.
A statement from the Royal Government Spokesperson’s Unit said that the construction project of the bridge across the border was one of the key cooperation to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
In addition, the project will be across the Ropov River in Preah Vihear province and Champasak province, Lao PDR.
At the same time, both governments also discussed the connection of transport and the construction of the expressway from Vientiane to Cambodia's border.
