Gov't approved to reduce e-Visa fee from 2025 onwards

Summary：In order to provide convenience to travelers and tourists coming to Cambodia, the Royal Government of Cambodia has instructed relevant ministries and institutions to improve and streamline procedures for issuing visas through the e-Visa and e-Arrival systems to bring them into a single ecosystem of the Royal Government and to reduce the fee of electronic visas (e-Visa) for tourist (T) and regular (E) types accordingly.

According to a press release from the General Department of Immigration, in order to provide convenience to travelers and tourists coming to Cambodia, the Royal Government of Cambodia has instructed relevant ministries and institutions to improve and streamline procedures for issuing visas through the e-Visa and e-Arrival systems to bring them into a single ecosystem of the Royal Government and to reduce the fee of electronic visas (e-Visa) for tourist (T) and regular (E) types accordingly.

The above reforms will be implemented from January 1, 2025, onwards. The fee of the e-visa has been reduced as follows:

- e-Visa T reduced from US$36 to US$30

- e-Visa E reduced from US$42 to US$35.
