Cambodia's New Year Eve attracts over 3.5 million tourists

According to a report from the Ministry of Tourism, during the two-day New Year's Eve holiday, December 30-31, 2024, there were 3,535,325 tourists traveling throughout the country.

On the first day, December 30, 2024, there were 216,331 national and 18,249 foreign tourists.

On the second day, December 31, 2024, there were 3,271,734 national and 29,011 foreign tourists.

In total, over the two days of December 30-31, 2024, there were 3,535,325 tourists visiting the country, including 3,488,065 national and 47,260 foreign tourists.

The capital and 4 provinces that received the most tourists are:

1. Phnom Penh received a total of 1,573,479 tourists.

2. Sihanoukville province received a total of 422,829 tourists.

3. Siem Reap province received a total of 333,660 tourists.

4. Battambang province received a total of 324,760 tourists.

5. Kampot province received a total of 227,976 tourists.
