Compass Cambodia report - Keut Chhe, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh, stated that the real estate sector is an important part of Cambodia’s economic growth.
Chhe, on behalf of Phnom Penh Governor Khuong Sreng, made the statement during the inauguration of a housing development plan on 24 July.
The Deputy Governor pointed out that the investment and growth of real estate and construction reflects the new success of the implementation of the political program and strategy of the fourth phase of the Royal Government of Cambodia in attracting investment and creating business opportunities, especially the efforts to increase trust.
In the past 43 years, Phnom Penh has changed its face beautifully, receiving great praise and congratulations from the national and international community through the achievement of infrastructure development, according to Chhe.
Phnom Penh, and the country as a whole, has seen an increase in investment and construction of infrastructure. The country is geared to reach its high-middle income goal by 2030.
