Breaking News: more 2 COVID-19 patients confirmed in Viking Cruise Journey.

The Cambodian Ministry of Health announced at noon on the 12th that Cambodia had confirmed two new cases of COVID-19. The two patients had took the same cruise with the third confirmed patient in Cambodia.

New patients were a British couple, a 73-year-old husband and a 69-year-old wife. They were diagnosed at 9 pm on the 11th and are currently being treated in quarantine at Kampong Cham Government Hospital.

So far, the total number of confirmed cases in Cambodia has reach to five, four cases of COVID-19 patients stay in Cambodia, and another confirmed Chinese has returned China.

It is reported that there are 64 passengers and flight attendants (34 crew members) on the Viking Cruise Journey cruised by Cambodian patients diagnosed in Cambodia, from 7 different countries, including the United States (34 people), the United Kingdom (11 people), Canada (4 people), The Netherlands (1 person), Myanmar (1 person), Vietnam (7 people), Cambodia (24 people), the cruise ship has currently been diagnosed with 3 passengers.

State Secretary and Spokesperson Aor Vann Din said the passengers and flight attendants had landed, and they were arranged to be observe in quarantine. The samples of tourists and crew on the cruise were sent to the Cambodian Pasteur Institute for testing. After receiving the results, the Ministry of Health will release it to the public.

Cambodia has not imposed too many restrictions on travel, and it does not oppose tourists visiting Cambodia. The number of patients with COVID-19 in the country continues to increase, and the Cambodian and migrant workers in Cambodia are very panic about this. They are worried that if Cambodia has a large-scale outbreak, the consequences may be disastrous.
