Townhouse is the first choice of Cambodian

With the increasing demand of local buyers, real estate development in Cambodia has  transformed into economical real estate. In addition to the demand of economical apartments, there are more and more town house projects.

Town house is the traditional residence of Cambodian, also the first choice of Cambodian. Town house is a row of connected houses with a uniform layout and local appearance. The townhouses have a unique structure. Generally, there are stairs in the middle and rooms in the front and back. Most of them are multi-storey buildings. The ground floor could be use as shops. Above ground floor are bedrooms, kitchens, storage rooms, etc.

Some developers develop individual town house  to cater to the local market.

Secondly, the new town house design is more reasonable. The newly-developed town house project maximizes the design to improve the narrow width of old townhouses and poor lighting. The distribution of function rooms is more reasonable, the bedroom area is expanded, and the living experience is more comfortable. The exterior design of the town houses is more eye catching. If we don’t know the customs of Cambodia, we might think that this is a villa.

According to the data of Compass, the newly developed townhouse projects are distributed widely, but mainly concentrated in the sub-core areas and outskirt, and the prices are affordable. On the whole, the price of town houses is cheap, the available area is large, many rooms, and the ground floor shops are provided. If the entire family stays for a long time, the townhouse is a good choice.
