The government is studying the feasibility of three major projects, including the Sihanoukville International Airport, the Neak Reach tourist site, and the Boeung Kang Kep development project, to transform the 161-hectare Boeung Kang Kep area in Sihanoukville into a smart area.
H.E Pen Sophal, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, stated during the meeting with relevant officers that July 17 that the development of Boeung Kong Kep is smart development.
“During the development, we will take into account factors such as green space, nature, and environment protection. We want this to be the sustainable development for the next generation, said H.E. Sophal.
He added that Boeung Kang Kep is not the only plan for Sihanoukville, but the development vision of this province includes the study of land use master plans and the integration between Sihanoukville other provinces such as Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and the Northeast provinces.
Sihanoukville is considered one of the high economic potential provinces in Cambodia, particularly within the infrastructure development sector, such as the expressway and the 34 road construction.(This news came from Construction-Property.com)
