According to Mr Sarath, the new building is the four-story building with the capacity to hold up to 220 beds. The building will also be equipped with modern equipment for placing and treating emergency patients as well as expand specialized surgical services.
The construction will begin construction in early 2021 and will take 22 months to complete.
This multipurpose building project is a part of the grant aid from the Japanese government worth over US$41 million, which also includes human resource, economic and social development programs as well.
Two other referral hospitals project were also broken ground last month, including a US$2 million Pailin Referral Hospital, and a US$ 1.4 million Kroch Chhmar District Referral Hospital. Source from www.construction-property.com.
