To date, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport is taking several measures to prevent the damage, including preventing water from flowing on the road, stopping traffic and large trucks crossing the road, etc.
The Ministry also confirmed that NR4 will be opened for traffic tonight. However, NR3 and NR5 will not be opened yet.
HE Sun Chanthol also said that the government is working very hard to repair the flood-damaged roads and upgrade them if possible, to prevent severe flooding from next year.
