Phnom Penh welcomes over 3 million international tourists

Phnom Penh: According to a report on the situation of tourism in 2018 of Phnom Penh Department of Tourism，over the past year, Phnom Penh received more than 3 million international tourists, an increase of 15.2% over the previous year.

According to the report, for the first 11 months of 2018, international tourists who visited Phnom Penh were 3,122,775 tourists, while international arrivals to Cambodia by 2018 exceeded 6.2 million. At the same time, visitors arriving at Phnom Penh International Airport were 1,738,767, up 35.8% and tourist arrivals China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Britain, Australia, France, etc.

According to the report, until 2018, Phnom Penh has 2,913 tourist services, of which 173 hotels There are three main tourist sites, including three resorts near Phnom Penh. But the most international tourist destination is the Wat Phnom Palace, the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, and so on.
