Borey Peng Huoth requested Phnom Penh Administration to build an underground road along National Road 1 to reduce traffic congestion in the area.
At the meeting on the morning of March 2, Mr. KHOUNG Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh Capital Hall, said that the project had been proposed to build a subway connecting the location of PH ECO MALL To National Road 1, underground, is Boeung Chhouk Village, Sangkat Niroth, Khan Chbar Ampov. The road is 195 meters long and 7 meters wide, and the study is a package for the Boeung Chhou area, covering both the impact of the Traffic Police on National Highway 1.
Through this meeting, Mr. KHRENG Sreng suggested creating a technical working group composed of relevant institutions to conduct a thorough study before constructing a subway along National Road 1, taking into account the impact Order and traffic congestion.
