The new handbook was launched by Nicholas Moore, Australia’s Special Envoy to Southeast Asia, with HE Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary-General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia.

This book is the result of a close collaboration between Australia and Cambodia aimed at promoting investment in Cambodia, explaining key investment laws and processes.

In addition, this book draws on the experiences and lessons that investors have gone through in the past, as well as sharing knowledge from government representatives as well as the private sector in Cambodia.

This book is also a practical guide for Australian and foreign investors looking for opportunities in the Cambodian market, with a particular focus on the Investment Law (LOI) 2021.

It should be noted that the Law on Investment was promulgated on October 21, 2021, which was established to attract and improve the investment climate in Cambodia.
