Cambodia 2023 SEA Games has officially opened, Yuetai Phnom Penh Harbour opens a new riverside life

May 5th is a day worthy of being recorded in the annals of Cambodian history.

The opening ceremony of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games was held in Phnom Penh on May 5, 2023. This is a sports event that the Cambodian people have been waiting for for 64 years.

For this, the government not only develops urban infrastructure, but also invests huge manpower and material resources in competition venues, road traffic, telecommunications, and urban appearance upgrades.

As the organizer, Cambodia also created  the history of the "three exemptions" of the SEA Games: tickets, catering and accommodation for delegations from various countries, and broadcasting rights are all free!

Such a generous act shows the hospitality of Cambodia and makes the world know the country again. At this time, the streets and alleys of Phnom Penh are decorated with lights and festoons, and the atmosphere of joy and festivities is very strong. As the busiest area in Phnom Penh, the riverside road has various celebrations every day. 

Yuetai Phnom Penh Harbour, which is located at the core area of riverside Road, also offering its own blessing to this joyful atmosphere, by set up a check-in point for the SEA Games at the entrance of the project for tourists to take pictures and check-in, and prepared  gifts for the visitors who came to visit.
