Cambodia resumes visa on arrival, Phnom Penh is the first to see high-quality short-term rental

On March 17, the Ministry of Health of Cambodia issued a notice that in view of the continued easing of Omicron, PM Hun Sen, prime minister of Cambodia decided to lift the restrictions on entry and epidemic prevention from now on. The latest immigration policy covers the following aspects:

1. Cancel the requirement for a negative Covid-19 test (PCR) certificate within 72 hours before entering Cambodia;

2. Cancel the requirement to do Rapid Test after entering Cambodia;

3. Re-open Visa on Arrival, including air, water, and land passenger.

Earlier, Lim Heng, vice-president of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC), pointed out that Chinese investors have begun to return to Cambodia. H.E. Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, the Minister of Economy and Finance also said that the Cambodian economy will recover this year and continue to grow strongly as well as tourism and investment will be greatly increased.
