Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction plans to issue two new laws

Recently, during a meeting with civil officers of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, H.E. Say Sam Al, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, outlined the 15 policy priorities of the ministry for the seventh mandate.

H.E. stated that the MLMUPC will continue to work hard to implement the main work for the 7th legislature in response to the priorities set out in the Pentagonal Strategy, which is the implementation of the CPP's political program to build and defend the motherland in 2023-2028.

Based on the priorities of the Pentagonal Strategy in the fourth angle of the fourth pentagon, the MLMUPC focuses on 15 policy priorities. This includes the preparation of legal frameworks by reviewing, improving, supplementing, and updating legal documents in a more complete manner in accordance with the new and realistic context with consistency, especially the preparation of some important draft laws, such as the Land Law, which will be revised, and two new unprecedented laws, including the Law on Land Management and Urban Planning and Law on Housing .

In the direction of the 15 policy priorities, it also emphasizes the promotion of construction by using more Khmer style, modern Khmer style "contemporary," and a movement to revitalize the Khmer architectural style as well as to improve the quality and safety of construction.
