Chamkarmon is the largest core administrative district in Phnom Penh. The business economy is prosperous, the transportation is convenient, the business district is mature, and the flow of people is relatively crowed.
BKK1 belongs to the first sub district of Chamkarmon, located east of Monivong Avenue, north of Mao Tse Toung Avenue, west of Norodom Avenue, and south of Sihanouk Avenue. Since foreign embassies are basically stationed in BKK1, this area is named as the embassy area. BKK1 is also the district with the highest land price in Phnom Penh.
The Tonle Bassac District is located in the east of BKK1 and is the most concentrated area for entertainment in Phnom Penh. The famous NAGA, AEON 1 and Sofitel Hotel are all located in this area. It is very convenient for living, entertainment and shopping and is suitable for living there. As a result, apartments and villas in the business district are relatively popular, and rental and housing price are rising.
The Chamkarmon has a wide area and a large amount of project, but the quality project is basically gathered in the BKK1 and Tonle Bassac subdistricts. If you want to invest in Phnom Penh, BKK1 and Tonle Bassac District are good choice.
