Cambodia Compass report, 31th May - The government is now reviewing the contract between construction contractors, according to the General Secretariat of the National Assembly's meeting on May 28th.
The plan to construct a new US$25 million Vietnamese-funded National Assembly administration building, which has been proposed since 2017, has taken another step forward.
The National Assembly's General Secretariat and the consultancy firm Archetype (Cambodia) Ltd met to discuss the draft contract for construction contractors as well as other terms and conditions. The structure is projected to be 11 stories tall, according to a National Assembly official. Nonetheless, the project is currently undergoing quality and financial evaluation.
JEB Surveys and Engineering Co., Ltd drilled four holds near the National Assembly parking lot in January 2021 to test the ground.
