Compass Cambodia report, August 9 - Nuon Pharath, deputy governor of Phnom Penh, attended the signing ceremony of the Smart City Project meeting on the arrangement of the smart bus waiting area in Phnom Penh and chaired the first meeting of the Joint Project Coordinating Committee (JCC) with representatives of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), representatives of the embassy of Japan and representatives of Japanese partners as well as representatives of the department of public works and transport of Phnom Penh, the public transport authority of Phnom Penh, the commissioner of the Phnom Penh municipal police, representatives of the traffic management center in Phnom Penh and the Phnom Penh municipal administration.
It is also worth noting that this smart bus waiting project in Phnom Penh has 11 functions, including: camera system, WiFi, Sensor, ATM, advertising space and many more. When it is ready, it is expected to make it easier for passengers to wait on the public smart bus in Phnom Penh.
