West Port Government: We have prepared 300 tents to facilitate tourists to come to the new year's travel.

According to past practice, during the New Year (January 1), as one of the tourist destinations, West Harbor will welcome a large number of tourists, and then there will be "one room is hard to find"?

For a long time, there has been a problem of "room shortage" in West Harbor.The loal accmmodtion prices have soared, which has aroused the discontent of the loal people in Cambodia.Many people even said they could not afford to go to West Harbor.

A special working group has been set up in Xigang to investigate the reasons for the rise in hotel prices in Xigang. At the same time, it has been pointed out that the rise in hotels in Xigang is due to the shortage of supply and demand. Several large hotels will be eased after construction.

In the first half of the year, Ban Suipo, State Secretary of the Ministry of Land Planning and Construction, said that in 2018, Prosseyhano Province would add 1,000 new hotel rooms to meet the accommodation needs of passengers.

In addition, 300 tents have been prepared in Sihanouk province for visitors to stay in for the New Year.

According to the official Facebook post of Prosseyhano Provincial Government on the 20th, the West Port Government, in cooperation with the Provincial Tourism Bureau, plans to set up 300 tents on Oates Beach to accommodate domestic and foreign tourists, so as to avoid tourists'dissatisfaction caused by the shortage of rooms.

In addition to tents ,the city government has set up night lights,40 mobile toilets and changing rooms to facilitate visitors to enjoy the 2018-2019 New Year's Event.

About 2.5 million tourists visited various tourist attactions throughout the country during the year 2017-2018, including about 215,000 in Prosseyhano Province.
