According to the announcement made by Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen on 14 December, due to the favorable geographical conditions of the border, especially near the city of Sihanoukville, Khemarak Phoumin has become a potential industrial and tourism development zone, as well as the main channel for goods export between the border and Thailand. It has invested millions of dollars in major development projects at home and abroad.
Many large-scale investment projects are still under follow-up development in the provinces, such as the urban tourism project, Sakor, Dakar. They include five-star hotels, apartments, foreign houses, office buildings, trade centers, golf courses and international entertainment parks. A large number of Khemarak Phoumin vacation tourism projects have attracted more tourists to Cambodia.
Through the development of these projects, Khemarak Phoumin is becoming a more developed development zone. At the same time, through good cooperation on the Cambodian-Thai border, tourism flows have also increased year by year.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Oddity has transformed the border into a peaceful and developed area. At present, the Royal Government is investing more in infrastructure construction to facilitate convenient transportation in the region.
Because of the peaceful environment in Cambodia, domestic and international investors can continue to invest, especially in ecotourism projects, which helps to promote economic growth and provide better living conditions for Cambodians.
