At present, Phnom Penh has concluded friendly city relations with five cities in China, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Kunming and Hefei, and signed a letter of intent for friendly city relations with Changsha City, Hunan Province. In April 2014, the new bridge of China Aid Cambodia Friendship Bridge, Shuijinhua Bridge in Phnom Penh, was completed; in April 2017, the construction of China Aid Cambodia National Stadium in Phnom Penh was started; and in July, 100 buses assisted by the Chinese Government were put into operation in Phnom Penh. In the rapid development process of Phnom Penh, China has been giving strong support, but also for the vast majority of citizens in Phnom Penh to bring more tangible well-being.
