Cambodia's exports, according to figures from the United States Census Bureau, were estimated at $4.298 million in the first seven months of this year – an increase of 26.8% year on year. Cambodia has imported US$235 million from January to July of this year, which was 38.5% higher than last year's period. During this period, bilateral trade increased 27.3% to $4,534 million.
The exports from Cambodia to the US are made largely of garments and products like footwear, bicycles and furniture. They are exported under the American Generalized Preferences System (GSP). Cambodia imports automobiles, machinery, electrical appliances and electronics.
