With Phnom Penh becoming the most vaccinated city with over 70% of the total population and Cambodia becoming the 2nd most vaccinated country in Southeast Asia after Singapore, the Ministry of Tourism and other associated subcommittees are working towards a plan to reopen the borders for fully vaccinated international travelers by November this year within Cambodia's tourism and investment sectors. The Cambodian ministry of tourism recently announced that fully vaccinated international tourists could be allowed into Cambodia as early as November 2021 with the evidence of their inoculation. In order to make travel more convenient, Cambodia also plans to lessen or remove fully-vaccinated tourists' 14-day Quarantine policy, with the exclusion of a COVID negative 72-hour trial and another COVID negative test upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport.
