OCIC Chroy Changva Satellite City:

Developed by the Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC), it costs 1.6 billion US dollars and covers an area of more than 300 hectares. The project includes power stations, shopping centers, exhibition centers, and many other facilities such as gyms , government buildings, schools, clubs,etc. OCIC Chroy Changva Satellite City is currently under development and construction of various projects. For people who do not often travel to OCIC Chroy Changva  and National Road No.6, they may not feel the potential and the change of Chroy Changva district.

- Ly Yong Phat Satellite City:

Ly Yong Phat Satellite City is developed by Cambodia, Ly Yong Phat Group( LYP Group) , with an investment of about US $1.5 billion, it gathers commercial, tourism and other industries including commercial buildings, Garden City Golf Club (already opened), Phnom Penh Safari (already opened), Garden City Water Park (already opened), Morodok Techo National Stadium (already opened), five-star hotels (already opened) and other projects. 

Chroy Changva Satellite City developed by the Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC) which is under the Canadia Group and Ly Yong Phat Satellite City is developed by LYP Group. These 2 Satellite Cities in Chroy Changva District are both developed by local big groups. So it’s a kind of guarantee whether with its financial strength, undertaking strength, and operational strength. 

In recent years, with the implementation and delivery of major projects, the development of the District has been continuously revealed. According to the news, the government decided to establish the "Arey Ksat City” in Kandal Province on 23th December 2022, Arey Ksat City and Phnom Penh separated by only the Mekong River. In the long run, the Cambodian government's plans for Phnom penh and the surrounding provinces are also accelerating the process of urbanization, and the demand for infrastructure construction must be kept up.

3rd Potential : Bridge

The convenience of transportation can quickly connect the new district and the old city. 

At present, there are 5 bridges in the direction of the Tonle Sap River that connect Chroy Changva District to the old city of Phnom Penh, and four of them have been put into use. 

The planning of the Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge has also been implemented and will start construction at the end of 2023. The Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge project will be constructed in two directions, one is to connect the night  market in Phnom Penh to the Chroy Changvar district across the Tonle Sap River, and the other one is to connect Chroy Changvar district to AreyKsat City across the Mekong River.

The AreyKsat City is separated from Phnom Penh by only the Mekong River, and the ferry is a means of transportation for people between the two places. The Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge will be the first bridge connecting the two cities. (It should be mentioned that after the Cambodian Government announced its plan to build a bridge connecting Phnom Penh to AreyKsat in 2021, land prices in the area have increased once, and now the Bridge project has been finalized, this will cause land prices in the AreyKsat area to increase again.)

Bridge has been put into use temporary, 93% of the bridge has been completed, and it is expected to use before the Khmer New Year in 2023

4th Potential : Local Borey

"Borey" is a huge public residential community in khmer meaning, It is a complex community mainly composed of shop houses, link houses, twin villas and single villas that are popular with local people.

The projects of Borey in OCIC satellite city and National Road 6A provide a large number of townhouses and villas for the Chroy Changvar district.
