Kep National Park will be remodeled into leisure spot for the elderly

In conjunction with the project to develop Kep National Park to be more attractive in tourism, the Kep Provincial Administration also plans to transform this area into a relaxing area for the elderly, as this area is favorable to the natural landscape and high comfortable.

Som Piseth, Governor of Kep Province, said last morning, November 17, 2020 that the provincial administration plans to turn this national park area into a resting place for the elderly because the area is favorable on the natural, environment and comfort, these are really good for the elderly or retirees around the world to come and relax for a while.

He said that this is just a vision, however, he welcomes and encourages investors who are interested in this project. Nevertheless, the park still welcomes people of all genders, ages and levels to relax, just as this initiative is tailored to older people, both nationally and internationally, rather than people of all ages.

Kep National Park is the tourist heart of Kep, 2.5 km from the provincial town, a natural resort for sightseeing and photography. The beautiful scenery of Kep National Park has helped attract national and international tourists to stay in that area as well. Apart from that, this area also has a history as an important natural habitat for wildlife such as quadrupeds, birds, rich in biodiversity and beautiful scenery.

Kep National Park covers an area of 5,000 hectares, bordering North on National Road 16, south on the east coast and west on National Road 162.
