These large-scale real estate projects will be bright diamond in the southern part of Phnom Penh

HE Khuong Sreng also said that based on Phnom Penh Land Use Master Plan in 2035, the southern part of Phnom Penh is designated as a new development area for high-rise construction projects, luxury architecture and satellite city development to ensure the efficient use of existing land and potential in the city.

It is observed that the ING satellite city, a giant project full of large buildings, is rushing to build roads and infrastructure while other properties are preparing for the numbers.

The area has a giant supermarket project under construction at the intersection of Samdech Hun Sen Boulevard and Chhun Kong Boulevard, as well as Japan's Aeon Mall has begun construction of its third giant supermarket project in ING City  development satellite city and two other supermarkets are also under construction such as PH Diamond Place and Chip Mong 271 Mega Mall.

Simultaneously, with the construction of Chun Kong Blvd by ING Holding Group, Chun Kong Blvd is a boulevard located in the middle of the ING City Satellite City Development Zone connecting National Road 2 in Chak Angre Sangkat down to Choeung Ek Road (Street 217) is about 5,500 meters long and 50 meters wide, crossing Samdech Hun Sen Blvd (60 meters) plays an important role in resolving traffic congestion from East to west of ING City Development Zone. In addition, ING CITY is also gaining momentum in the real estate sector, including residential construction, condominiums, commercial buildings and international schools.

Not only that, the Royal Government has cut out five villages in Kandal province to become part of Phnom Penh, while the southern part of Phnom Penh is currently in a hurry to build a series of large-scale development projects. At the same time, Samdech Techo Hun Sen stated that the area of Phnom Penh has now increased to nearly 700 square kilometers, and many areas of Kandal province have been cut into Phnom Penh.

According to many experts, the 60-meter road area, compared to other areas around Phnom Penh, south of the city, is the fastest developing area because: 1)The area has a fast growing economy, high land conditions, less risk of flooding. 2) It is the closest location to the city and the area where new infrastructure needs to be set up, which allows for better road construction than the developed area. 3)This area has a lot of Borey development, making it a lot of people to live in, most of them are well-off and middle-class people, plus a lot of travel and traffic, in addition, the road to Takhmao is another great Samdech Hun Sen Blvd is ready to be officially opened soon.

It should be noted that according to the master plan (2015-2035) of the Capital Hall has determined the location south of Phnom Penh, that is, in the next 15 years, the area will be developed into a green city and a important business center of Phnom Penh.
